Kilimanjaro Mountain
Mount Kilimanjaro is more than a summit. The climb takes you through a series of changing landscapes, from cultivated foothills and rainforest to moorland, alpine desert and the high volcanic summit zone.
The final objective is Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres. The climb is non-technical, but altitude is the main challenge, making route choice, pacing and acclimatisation important.
Safari Convoy’s content architecture includes seven Kilimanjaro routes — Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, Shira, Rongai, Umbwe and Northern Circuit — alongside Mount Meru.
